Also, can you clarify your wifi router / access point settings? In case it is just a weak signal can you place it physically close to the AP to check? If you can look at the router wifi settings, is it 5 Ghz only, or 2.4 Ghz also? And what authentication protocol? (wpa2, wpa3, etc.)
Ich tried different routers also with 2.4 GHz but it seems that the tablet not even search for a network. When ich switch on WiFi there is no loading animation and the title says WiFi is off. When I close the popup and open it again WiFi is on but not networks.
On my phone I can see several networks and get a search animation on top of the popup.
@mar, to be on the safe side, I would always do at least a factory reset to delete all third-party files when purchasing a used tablet. Who knows what’s on there?
Be sure to check that Wi-Fi works with stock Android 11.
I recommend completely resetting the tablet, first with stock Android 11 using Odin, then with iodéOS. This will give you a clean, fresh, and secure installation, because you’ll know what has been done with the tablet.
@mar, a factory reset is a factory reset, regardless of how it is performed.
I assume that your NO WI-FI is not blocked by the iodéOS ROM but by your Tab S5e. Either it is a hardware defect or the Samsung stock firmware is damaged. To narrow down the error, I recommend reinstalling Samsung Stock Android 11 for your region. This is the only way to get a clear result.
On further inspection I noticed that the software says the device is a t720 (which I also ordered) but on the back it says t725 (which is the LTE version)
Can I use Odin to install the LTE version of 6.10 over the WiFi version without installing Stock Android first? I think they installed the wrong version on this tablet, because the device has a sim card slot
