ok, found now how to leave out certain prebuilt apps. Was really easy and can be found in /vendor/extra/produkt.mk

I left out magic earth in this build to be able to not alter partition sizes

The download speed of SourceForge.is currently unbearably slow (> 3 hours) despite a fast fibre optic connection, regardless of which download manager I use. Test is therefore postponed.

The installation procedure with LOS recovery was completed with the usual error message Verification failure (ignored) and ended with Status 0.

:x: Installation variant N°2 failed : The restart ends with a black screen, no logo - nothing. The NP1 is silent, dead - totally bricked!

@roonz98, I’ve already experienced a lot when testing your unofficial custom ROMs. This is the second device after the Redmi Note 8 Pro (begonia) in December 2023 with a hardbrick. I was able to save and revive the ‘begonia’. It looks very bad for the NP1 because it can’t even boot into EDL mode anymore.

NP1 is unbricked and is now running on Nothing OS 2.6 (A14) firmware with the very best iodéOS 5.9 GSI signed incl. OTA update. I can easily do without the Glyph Lights.

Really strange, the sources I used were the official from lineageOS and the only change I did was to leave out magic earth app which should have no impact.
I assume that since latest lineageOS sources are NOS 3.0 based you need to start with this as basis. I think the respective LOS version 22.1 nightly build will be released soon

Is this ROM working now, or should i wait, before flashing…

@iodysseus wrote a review of iode on the nothing phone 1 last July:

so if you find the current build has problems you can go back to that one until more recent versions are stable

OFFICIAL lineage-22.2-20250423-nightly-Spacewar-signed
and
OFFICIAL lineage-22.1-20250422-microG-Spacewar (signed)
runs flawlessly from start to finish.

With regard to NP(1), the following applies to me: Never change a winning MicroG-Team!

I understand. I made now 2 builds for iode. One with the LOS official sources (in this thread) and another from xda sources:
