Is this on a new install? If so that is an indication of possibly triggering ARB or something along those lines. You need to have Android 16 older the better installed before installing iodéOS, not A17 or the newest A16.

I installed it maybe 2 months ago. I am pretty sure I checked the Android version (as per instructions) as this device had been in storage for a while. The settings used to work, but have recently stopped. I couldn’t confirm but maybe with the latest update.

Is the best/only solution to attempt to roll back android and do a new install.

I am not sure what advice to give… but I do recall that some of the users with “settings strangeness” was due to going directly from Graphene (maybe?) or other non-stock Android versions, but there was some confusion that seemed corrected by reinstalls of iodéOS, other times reflashing to an older Google A16 build.

If you don’t have a lot of personal data on the device it may be easiest to solve this way. You can use Seedvault under System Settings > System > Backup to backup and then later restore if you have a lot of data on it, but several messaging apps etc. do not allow being backed up and restored this way so make sure you have backups made from within those apps as well.

A full reimage seems to have worked. Thanks

Did you just re-try iodéOS directly, or did you flash back to stock and then back to iodéOS?

Hi,

I just installed directly first to see if it worked. And still so far it has. Thanks
