Yesterday I updated my Fairphone 5 to the newest version 7.2. During usage (disable bluetooth, starting video in newpipe, etc.) the device reboots.
This seems very strange, I notice your other post about Preinstalled App “android zombies” returning. Somehow the upgrade didn’t go well, what system version were you on previously?
Maybe resetting bluetooth and wifi would be needed, or you can reset all app preferences?
I did a fresh installation 2-3 weeks ago with iode 7.1. No issues with automatic reboots. Beginning of the week I updated to iode 7.2 and the issue occured. Each time I activate bluetooth. And sometime when I start videos in newpipe.
What do you mean with wifi/bluetooth reset? Delete all connections?
I deleted all bluetooth connections. Activated bluetooth. Reboot ![]()
Disabled smartphone bluetooth key in ev app (electric vehicle). Activated bluetooth. No reboot ![]()
Enabled smartphone bluetooth key function again. Activated bluetooth. No reboot ![]()
Love dependencies ![]()
Will monitor it…
I guess rik meant Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Bluetooth & WiFi
If the issue comes back, that would be worth trying.
The issue appeared again. Not only by switching Bluetooth on/off.
I did a fresh install of iode 7.2. This time I keeped all default apps installed. A ccol feature, but it don’t work for me. Could not reinstall apps. I would like to deinstall microG, but fear issues.
The fresh installation of iode 7.2 is running fine. With all apps I had before.
Only difference: Like written, I did not deinstall default apps.
I will followup here on “Preinstalled Apps” issues: so far I can’t break it but again let’s take this part of the discussion here: Cannot reinstall preinstalled apps
