I have problem with my new Pixel 9. 7.4 installed.
So I setup the P9 on Thursday with 7.4 and using esim from my old Pixel 8.
Meanwhile I have Pixel 5 with 7.4 and a physical sim Lebara (Vodafone).
On Friday, yesterday, lunchtime family said they got a phone not connected error, I put the Lebara physical sim and rang Voxi for help after a long discussion and trying different changes, bar and unbar esim the Voxi esim worked until this morning(Saturday). After several hours of erasing the esim and resending esim QR code , three repeated attempts failed So they said get a physical sim from a Vodafone shop,I did and they setup with my number and it worked and was happy. That was short lived, on the way , on train, it failed again. Now at home I swapped the sims, putting the Lebara in the P9 and worked as also did the Voxi sim in the P5 . But I swapped them P9 Voxi and P5 Lebara and P9 fails.
In all this the P9 always recognised the sim whether physical or esim providers Voxi (Vodafone) or Lebara (Vodafone).
I’m going get a return from Curry’s, if they and probably test they could get P9 to work if the try different providers. Meanwhile do try Voxi help?
I think I have a similar problem since updating to iode 7.4 on my Pixel 8. Once the connection to Vodafone Germany (physical SIM) is lost (e.g. after turning airplane mode on and off, but strangely also after updating an app via Aurora Store) it does not connect again. Only rebooting the phone helps. No problems with iode 7.3 and below.
Sounds similar, now as I tried to using android flash it only offers 14.6.1 and flash different kernel option dates and reboots to Iode os 7.4 not Google and also leaves bootloader unlocked. So I cant take the phone back and also settings keeps crashing.
OK, well I’ve managed to install iode 7.4 using the browser installer, so all is working , sim, bootloader locked , except that the usb port is not recognising my thumb drive.
Hope it remains so, just have to reinstall all my apps
Likely your Access Point Name (“APN”) settings need to be adjusted to accommodate your carrier. You can find these settings under “System Settings > Internet & network > SIMs > (your sim) > Access Point Names”.
Let us know the current settings and current carrier so we can assist.
