More eSIM problems - no connection since 7.8 update

Linking to another thread on Pixel and eSIM issues (but theirs is related to registration failure).

In your case, are you still in Canada where you can re-test that eSIM? I would appreciate a re-confirmation of what your APN settings are in the non-working eSIM and with the working physical SIM (also Airalo?).

I might have posted to soon. After 2 hours back and forward with support they suggested creating an APN profile with the correct name, all fields empty and only Default selected as APN type. This worked instantly! I will try the same trick when I come back home with my own provider and see if that helps. If preferred I can delete my previous post or leave it up as a possible solution for others. Cheers
