My Brax3 with iodeOS 6.6 does not receive any SMS.
Probably best to register over at community.braxtech.net for broader support (I am active over there too helping with new brax3 users). But the first questions there or here will be about what carrier you are using and have you checked your APN?

Hi Community - my Iode google pixel 4a is unable to receive sms. It can send okay; and make and receive calls. Have tried all the suggested fixes online for the normal pixel 4a (other than updating the message app - which doesn’t seem to be available) and nothing works. Any suggestions at all? Thx
Was you number / SIM card used with a fully “Google’d” Android or iPhone previously? Are the incoming messages from Android or iPhone users (or both)? This is an issue some face, but often it is due to the sender’s phones wrongly identifying your number as capable of iMessage or “RCS” (Google’s newer messaging format that isn’t available for us “de-Googled” users).
Sometimes it clears up as the caching on these other users’ devices seems to expire (my theory is that every so often when they send a message your device is identified to them as “RCS” or “iMessage” capable, but after some time since that is no longer returned as true it may then finally be resolved / cleared out). This isn’t a satisfactory answer, but there are some other threads similar, maybe you can see if any of the discussions match your situation, such as this one: Group SMS Not Working with Apple users
