I tried to install IodéOS in my FP3 (I did successfully with FP4 bevor) using the installer.
First time installation failed, device was booting in FairphoneOS again.
So I tried a second time. Result: bootloop in Fastboot mode.
I’m not able to install any ROM on my FP3 (neither IodéOS nor FairphoneOS), because “Critical partitions are not unlocked” allthough bootloader is open.
Has anybody an idea for solving my problem? I didn´t find…
As I’m having the same issue over here: Do you know where I have to put the latest platform tools so iodé’s autoInstaller finds it? Or dit you install manually? Running on Windows 10 here, btw.
There may be other reasons for your problems. The iodé installer does not use already installed platform tools. It downloads the latest version for the initial diagnostic, and uses a fastboot version which is compiled when building the ROM.
Hi and sorry for my last answer.
I was in holiday with my family und forgot to check…
Did you find a solution for you?
I hope i remember the right way of installing IodeOs successfully:
After I was not able to install IodeOs or Fairphone OS with the software installed on my PC, I uninstalled my (old) fastboot-version.
After that I was able to install Fairphone OS with the installer. Then I tried installing IodeOS again and it worked…
I don´t remember, if I startet the installer right from the archive i downloaded here:
Hello thanks for the hint, I have a Linux EndeavourOS system with current SDK platform.
Today I installed manually, and ended up in the bootlop. Only bootloader and no USB connection to the PC.
No Recovery mode.
I think that was it.
