I installed it on my Pixel8a. Works so far without any problems. However, this problem remains in place.
iode.tech shows v7 is supported on Pixel 9a.
I installed the automated loader from the link and started the process over an hour ago.
The installer seems to be stuck (spinning widget and the last line in the progress window reads, “Rebooting into Fastboot ” My phone shows Fastboot is up.
Can any one tell me how long this process may take?
I would very much like to avoid issues with my new phone.
It is an unlocked device. Runing Win 11 with all bios recently updated, as well as Windows. Phone is plugged directly into a USB C port with the cable the phone came with.
Thanks…
Cant help you with the installer, but you can also download the fastboot package (another download) and install the fastboot script. Thats how I did it on my 9a few weeks ago. If you’re not sure, wait for others.

I appreciate your assistance. I’ll check this out.
One other question.
How do I recover the device to start over?
I’m currently in Fastboot.
What should I select from the menu?
Thanks again.
Reboot system. You haven’t done anything yet.
Its an unlocked device, you say. When you unlocked yourself it is reset to factory settings. You need to check usb debugging again. More info in Lineage wiki.
Reallly appreciate the assistance.
Thank you.
Updated the phone drivers on my computer and this seemed to clear the issue of loading iodeOS 7 to my Pixel 9a.
From a cold startup the phone shows a page that reads, “Your device is loading a different operating system.” It looks like a page from the root of the phone (not sure that is an apt description.) At the power button there is a message to “pause” I think. The Google “G” also shows during the boot cycle.
Doing nothing the phone will boot to iodeOS 7.
Inquring minds and such…
Deeply appreciative of the kind assistance from this community.
Totally normal, this means the flash was successful and you locked the bootloader. The message and the Google logo cannot be removed.
Cool. Thanks.
