I’ve been using iodé for the past 2 months and am very pleased with the OS and the app that blocks most annoying stuff.
Today I’ve noticed a lot of ads in one of my apps and then checked the iodé app if it forgot to block something. But the app shows no activity whatsoever. No report, no stream, no map, no apps to block or adjust, nothing at all.
Using a Shiftphone 8 fwiw
Have you tried to reset the app in settings? (When you have individual blocking rules, export it before reset, and after that, restore it).

I observed the same issue, the firewall App stopped tracking network access for a couple of Apps and I have no idea about the root cause. Newly installed Apps are recognized properly in most cases but the majority of apps are not logged. E.g. the Fennec browser (I’m using it currently to write that post) is noted as “This app never tried to access the internet”) which is obviously wrong 
Regarding “resetting the app", do you mean to delete storage and cache under settings? This didn’t solve the issue in my case. Same apps that are not logged after deleting both. I’m using the app with a premium account, if this is a difference.
No, Open the iodé blocker app, go there to: settings - reset data …
When you have user defined blocking rules, go first to that, then 3 dots … export … then reset data … and import.
That’s it, seems to work now! Thanks for that hint, I didn’t even notice that option under settings.
