Iode app automatic logout!

I logged in in the Iode blocker with non issues!. But it keeps logged in for few hours. Then i’m automatic logged out. I have this issue since 2-3 days. I’ve tried to resett all my settings in the iode blocker. And clear the storage (cache) but it doesn’t resolve the automatic logged out problem. Please Iode team can you check if my account credentials exist’s double and delete the dublicate.

Thank you,

Zekii

I have the same problem. This is annoying …

The problem is that this issue came always back again. Realy annoying!
I’ll hoping that this will be fixed in the next update same as the pre installed apps system.

This are the 2 nightmares for me on Iode that still exist for the FP5!

Can both of you @Zekii and @Pingus check the status of your subscription at My account - iodé

I confirm that my subscription is marked Active.

My subscription is marked as active too!

But i have a suspicion that it has to do with the autoreboot function! If it’s On. Later i’ll get the clarification stay tuned please. I’m testing it right now!

@rik Update: It has nothing to do with the autoreboot function. I have turned it off for the past hours (24h).

But exactly 00:30-01:19 every night it logged me off automaticly.

@rik Did you investigate something about the logout problem. or anything new information. it’s annoying rik!

Greetings zekii

Please try resetting the storage of the iodé app: “Long Press app icon > App Info > Storage & cache > Clear storage”. You will need to re-login after that. Let me know if you still see auto-logouts.

@rik yesterday i’ve done this. But it’s the same situation. The problem still exists! Automatic logout exists further! Can you please investigate with the iode-team my iode account? Maybe there is anything wrong with the data account or system. Maybe it’s dublicate data.

I can try to reflash my device new.

  1. step i flash the stock FP firmware
  2. i flash the iode firmware manually, the iode flasher doesn’t works right now, this you know it.

At least, which another device would you recommend it if i would purchase a new device?

Because of the FP5 isn’t a good device one for iodeos!!!

I have passed a link to your “auto logout” issue to the team, but regarding the FP5 I would really encourage a bit of patience.

As Android 16 QPR2 updates were only incorporated into LineageOS 23.2 in the past month, the “dust is not yet settled” on this “trickling down” to custom ROMs.

Currently iodéOS 7.3 beta builds are being made that will incorporate the LineageOS 23.2 (Android 16 QPR 2) updates, but the reason for some of these delays is that there are getting to be more frequent “significant interface / UI changes” in QPR releases, and these take time to be integrated in the various upstream projects that iodéOS relies on. Other custom ROMs for the FP5, for example, are still Android 15 based (and were Android 14 until recently). So iodé is quite responsive in integrating available upstream versions but again there is a bit of an essential delay for major version updates (of which QPR updates are showing: in fact I think the move from 16 > 16.2 is maybe a bigger issue than 15 > 16!)

Rik, thank you alot that you have inform the iode team of this issue. Of course i would be patient.
Take your time do deliver us a good custom rom.
And thank you alot for your time and effort.

If you are willing to test, the newest beta for the FP5 is available: ota / betas · GitLab with the most recent Security Patch Levels included.

I have also proposed to the development team that they consider including the patch date as part of the build name to make it a bit more transparent in the future.

Ok, i’ll test the beta! Maybe it will fixed few issues. Thank you @rik

I’ve flashed the beta from 18-02-2026. Now i have the problem that i can’t login to my premium account. Btw it looks awesome.

But i can’t login error: server not availible, please try it later. After a little bit of tinkering i flashed beck to iode 7.2! With the result that i can’t login in the premium account. Same error as the beta. The server not reachable try later.

Problem now: i can’t login, Server problem :frowning:

Have you tried Reset Data in the iodé Blocker app? I don’t know if it helps, but it could be a try more.

On iodeos 7.2 i’ve tried this several times. And reflashed several times the device. Nothing works.

Right now i’m testing the iode 7.3 beta and keep an eye on it.

After a while i can tell more. I hope this would fix some issues. Let’s see……….?

I response back

@volker01 I’ve tried every combination and possibility with iode 7.2 and iode 7.3. I ment the setup possibilitys.

  1. Fairphone OS flashed than Iode os different versions 6.9, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, beta 7.3, always with the same problem. After a fiew hours automatic logout.
  2. I’ve turned off the autoreboot function because i’ve thinking of maybe there is a problem with this option. I tested it for 3-4 days. But this supscision was wrong.
  3. My conclusion is, there is anything fault with the iodeos user database (only in my/for case) or maybe with the iodeos servers???
  4. And last suspicion the Fairphone 5 is the biggest trash. And i’m thinking of to change my phone. This is a realy annoying/frustation state of using FP5. Never purchasing/using Fairphone devices! There are alot of issues with the FP5.
  5. Iodeos is awesome and in my opinion the best choice of using a custom rom for safety/security and privacy. It’s the best ambitition for users. But the FP5 device is trash/garbage!

Really sad
