Iodé 7.4 - OnePlus 13 - Fantastic experience

I want to post my gratitude for providing this build (Iodé 7.4) for my OnePlus 13. Installation via the Installer (Linux) was absolutely smooth forward and easy, with no hickups at all. Everything I was able to test until now is working fine. What an outstanding experience!!!

Thanks to all, who have made this possible - donation is made, subscription will be considered in a couple of days.

Hi,

I have a OnePlus 13 (CPH2653) running the latest firmware.
Can I install Iode 7.4 without risking bricking the phone?

CPH2653 is on the list of supported devices. As long as your actual Android Security Update Version is equal or before March 1st 2026 you should have no problems. Only re-locking the bootloader won’t work (as with any CustomROM…)

@beefan With any alternative OS, there is always possibility that you can brick your phone. Chances are low, but they do exist. I can live with such a chance, so I am very happy with iodéOS (which is GREAT IMHO).

iodé relocks the bootloader when manufacturers permit: Pixel, Braxtech, Shift, Fairphone, Motorola G series: iodéOS official supported devices - iodé

Thanks for your reply, have a good day.

Hello!

My OnePlus 13 is a Chinese version that has been flashed to OxygenOS. Version is CHP 2653_16.0.5701 with ARB = 1. It was flashed with the super hybrid flasher from roms.danielspringer.at.

Android security update on the OnePlus 13 is dated March 1, 2026.

As a beginner, where can I find the appropriate iodé ROM and the installation instructions? Do I perhaps need to flash the next newer security patch from Roms.danielspringer.at onto the OnePlus 13?

Ist there any risk to brick the Phone?

Hi, Instructions can be found here: Installation - iodé

Following the given link “alternative way of installing IodéOS” will give you more details.

I personally would not update to a newer security patch, as this would increase the risk of bricking the phone due to the Anti Rollback Protection.

Where can I find the security update version in IodéOS 7.5 for the OnePlus 13? In the payload? And the ARB version?

New Info.

Where can I find the security update version and the ARB version—as well as information about the ARB—within the unzipped ZIP file for IodéOS 7.5 on the OnePlus 13?

New information after contacting Daniel Springer. He built a Super hybrid Flasher for Oneplus 13 with iode 7.6.

I would really not use a 3rd party tool to install iodéOS on a OnePlus. It is then just one more layer of obfuscation that could lead to a brick. Our graphical installer is the easy way, our manual process is also the easy way (using a script). Why is another tool needed?

But to what Vendor Security Patch Level is incorporated, how to confirm it, etc. I give some explanation and details in the other thread you started

Thanks for the tip. I’ll now try the automatic installation using the iOS Installer.

I’ve now used the Superhybrid Flasher from Daniel Springer. During the installation, you can select the Chinese version at the end. Mobile network coverage is included and everything works.
