Fairphone 6 with iodé 7.1 constantly vibrating in screen locked state

I installed the latest iodéOS 7.1 on my Fairphone 6. In screen locked state, the phone is constantly vibrating single or double times. It sounds as if I would get tons of notifications, but if I unlock the phone, no notifications are shown. Additionally, with screen unlocked, the vibrating stops. Not sure if this is an issue specifically with the Fairphone6, or some iodé settings.

How can I solve or debug this issue further?

Edit: It might be related to setting the Alert slider (the yellow slider on the right) to vibration. If I set the slide to nothing, all is fine – even if I set the phone to vibrate by using the volume up/down buttons and selecting vibrate from the menu. Also if I set the slider to mute, all is fine.

So, I have had time to test this myself. I set the slider to vibration, made sure that vibration and haptic feedback are working, and tested this with the slider up and down.
In my case, the phone remains completely silent (no vibration) when locked, so something must be different.

Thx for the feedback. I’m curious what else is causing the issue. Anyone an idea how to debug this further?

I assume the iodé build for FP6 is based on ArianK16a’s repo for LineageOS support. It’s a known problem already. See current state issue and in discussion in fairphone forum.

Workarounds are configure the alert slider to none or disabling vibration in settings.

For me it was not easy to recognize first. The random vibration is so low, that you nearly don’t feel it if you hold the device in hand. I noticed it only when laying it on a solid table, then you hear it clearly.
