My Spusu esim stopped working today.
After restarting the device the esim connects for a few seconds then nothing.
What can be done.
More info needed:
Device? iodéOS version? Was your eSIM setup with OpenEUICC? Was it working and then stopped after updating the system? Also is spusu a carrier? Can you point to their site for possible documentation?
I am in iode 7.7 it was working till yesterday, today got an update iof the openeuci app.
I think this is where the problem is. South uses the EE network.
The card is recognised but nothing, the provider sees it connected

In OpenEUICC it seems to be active too? What device?
It is active in the euci app, its a pixel 7a

I ordered an eSIM from Spusu yesterday evening and I’m not able to get it to connect either. This was before the OpenEUICC update that was installed today. This is a Pixel 8 running Iodé 7.7.
I’ll try and get hold of Spusu tomorrow but they’re not very responsive - it will involve an actual phone call 
A couple of other posts about Spusu issues:
I called them twice today, no issues. They sent a new esim within minutes, but not able to use it. It connects then nothing.

I got it to register yesterday but couldn’t get a signal. I’ve deleted the eSIM and tried to install it again but now it times out at ‘Authenticating your device with server’. Pressing Next returns some JSON that starts ‘ES10B_ERROR_REASON_UNDEFINED’.
Yes you would need to ask for a new one.

@VinCep and @simongreenwood I am checking with Vincent to see if anything stands out with latest OpenEUICC that may be at fault. Are you able to downgrade it from ioDroid to the prior version?
I’ve downgraded and the eSIM installs successfully again but still isn’t getting a signal. However, this could be due to my current location.
Tried all 3 versions. They all react the same way. When restarting 5g shows up then goes. And no network. even receive texts during the 2-3 seconds
You have looked at SIM / APN settings? I wrote this up today to give a bit more detail on that for those that are not familiar with checking / adjusting them:

seems the error “# ES10B_ERROR_REASON_UNDEFINED” hit others as well. There is an open issue in the OpenEUICC repo.
I get the same error trying to install an e-sim from Ubigi.
I only have one physical sim and never had an e-sim before on this phone.
(FP5 / iodé 7.7 / OpenEUICC v1.6.2-iode.13)
You cannot change the prefered network between 5G or LTE as it disapear after a few seconds,
No Volte option to turn on or preferred network type.
I’ve installed OpenEUICC 1.7.0 that has been released today and rebooted and the Spusu eSIM has finally connected. I’m about ten miles from our holiday cottage so that might be a factor as well as the area we’re in (the top left corner of Wales) has generally poor mobile reception so I will update when we get back there.

Back at the holiday home and I’m getting a better Spusu (EE) connection than my Smarty (3) physical SIM, which suggests it’s been a problem with OpenEUICC, which presumably explains the minor version jump.
FYI if the eSIM hasn’t registered it at least appears to be installable via the QR code until it has.

Can someone tell me how you managed to switch to different versions of OpenEUICC please?
My esim doesn’t have data for the last two days and I remember seeing some OpenEUICC updates so I am guessing I have the same issue. But when I go to the ioDroid store I see the 3 different app versions but no install button 
EDIT: Found it, you need to go to: Settings → Apps → Preinstall apps → System and you can can uninstall OpenEUICC. Then after you restart, you can go to ioDroid and you can select the version that you want.
I am on a Pixel 7 with Iode 7.7.
OpenEUICC 1.6.2-iode.15 caused the issue that I suddenly didn’t have internet. My connection was GSM only. Apart from that when I disabled the Automatic netowork selection I could only see one network (the one that I was connected with) which was GSM only.Now I “downgraded” to 1.7.0-iode14” and this gave me 5G again! Now when I search for networks I can again see more networks. But now for some reason I cannot open the OpenEUICC app anymore. It crashes when it starts
