Halifax Bank UK works perfectly. Installed from Aurora Store.

Halifax is a subsidiary of Lloyds Bank that offer FOSS app’ as well as Gapp to their own clients. Might do so also for Halifax but I don’t have an account with them so never looked.

Hello, I am new here. Just recently moved over from /e/os on FP6. Swissquote app does not work. It fails to launch, citing ‘your device does not meet the safety requirements to run Swissquote app’ as a reason. It was working perfectly fine on /e/os as recently as 1 hour ago, so I am confused why it refuses to work now

Same problem with IODE on Brax3. Please help!

You have all the microG bits (Google Device Registration, all check boxes under Self-Check, “hardware attestation” under SafetyNet) enabled?

Also have you confirmed all permissions under “App Info” for the app are enabled?

Next can you try with the iodé app (blocker) disabled from its main screen?

Hello Rik! Thank’s for your response and your tips. Anyway no joy :frowning:

Response: Make sure your device is not rooted or jailbreak, no virtuell PC.

As of Micro G with Brax3 no configuration possible on self-check .

All possible settings in Micro G enabled.

Only option as I understand is to use DroidGard to sign Micro G.

What is the procedure to do so?

Thank’s in advance for your help

Tom

Further to Rik’s advice this might also be worth a check / try…

Thank you for the tipp.

Result is now: After installation instead of “open” it say’s “update” and after that “status_failiure_invalid” App is installed but opens shortly saying “your device does not fullfill safty requirements” So obiously it needs more patience from my side. :folded_hands:

Glad you got some partial progress, the solutuon may end up being the right combination of which microG settings are turned on and off - so might need some methodical working through all the different permutations.

…or worst case it may be there is just something obscure that microG doesn’t cover and the app needs?

I own a sumup solo (with printer base) and can pair it with the app without issues on iodé 6.11, so there is no general issue with iodé regarding the sumup app.

Does anyone have experience with using Life360 on their iodeOS phone? I performed a search here on the forum but could not find anything. I will be switching to iodeOS from GrapheneOS, where it worked flawlessly for a while, but now is spotty at best. I am not a fan of Life360 as an app, but it’s cross-platform (my wife and son are both on iOS) and my wife likes to be able to know my approximate location. The app has been very late (as in, days!) to update my location in GOS for the past several months. Eventually, I’ll be running a home server and we will use OwnTracks as a family tracking app, but until that’s up and running, we have to rely on Life360. If it works well in iodeOS, then I won’t bother to spend much time tinkering in GOS to attempt to get it working again, and will expedite my switch to iodeOS.

Just curious to see if anyone has any experience….. Thanks!

Plexus reports “Gold” for CalyxOS 15.x (that is using microG the same as iodéOS) from April 2025, Lineage 21 with microG also reports “Gold” (but that is back to July 2024), so it is a good possibility it will work, but there aren’t other more recent reports. I guess it is a “try and see” if you can’t find more info on it from here, /e/OS forums, maybe microG issue tracker or Reddit.

Hello, Kiwih,:man_raising_hand:

it would appear this (editable) List of iode-compatible-apps is already attached on top this forum:backhand_index_pointing_up:

The Wero app is marked green here in the list … but in my case the Wero app (from Aurora Store) does not start at all. My hardware is a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 with iode …

Anybody here who is using the Wero app with iode?

In Switzerland we must use in certain government processes the AGOV app. With a locked FP6 it does not work (root is detected, which I do not use) and I think it is related to that device only. Since locked Pixel 5 and also unlocked Tab s5e work. Is there a way to look into that problem with Fairphone? I assume it has to do with vendor specific properties since the keys are release-keys.

I also have a Fido2 USB authenticator but it behaves strangely on Linux :frowning: as in works sometimes, doesn’t work sometimes.

I see on Plexus that there are recent reports of it being “broken” for microG. I see this issue on the microG issue tracker for Wero, which seems to indicate that it isn’t a very good log that was gotten to the developers. So you may need to see if you can get a better log for them to debug the issue.

Do you have microG settings enabled (“Device Attestation”, SafetyNet, etc?) - Yes SafetyNet was discontinued by Google, but I understand there are other parts to having that enabled in microG that may help the device pass(?)
