Can't do an update check on iodé 7.2 (Shiftphone 8.1)

I received a notification this week that iodéOS 7.3 is out, but trying to update my OS through the updater didn’t work. Every time I try to catch the update it gives an error:

‘The update check failed. Please check your internet connection and try again later.’

Restarting didn’t work
