Ich habe festgestellt, dass der angezeigte Standort, z. B. bei Organic Maps, oft ziemlich daneben liegt (ca. 200 m) bevor das GPS-Signal da ist. Ich habe dann ein bisschen rumprobiert und in den Einstellungen zu microG unter Standort die Funkzellen-basierte Ortung deaktiviert, sodas nur WLAN-Ortung aktiv ist. Den Standort lasse ich mir mit der APP My Location anzeigen. Direkt nach einem Neustart des Handys funktioniert alles normal und der korrekte Standort wird in der App unter “Network” angezeigt. Nach einiger Zeit (meist ein paar Stunden) funktioniert das aber nicht mehr und es wird überhaupt kein Standort angezeigt (nur GPS funktioniert). Das Ortungsproblem scheint also an der fehlerhaften WLAN-basierten Ortung zu liegen (die Funkzellen-basiete Ortung liefert den zuvor beschriebenen ungenauen Standort, der um 200 m falsch ist). Nach einem erneuten Neustart funktioniert es wieder eine Weile. Es macht auch keinen Unterschied, ob ich position.xyz oder beaconDB als Dienst wähle. Ich habe alle Versuche am gleichen Ort gemacht.
I noticed that the displayed location, e.g. in Organic Maps, is often quite far off (approx. 200 m) before the GPS signal is available. I then tried a bit and deactivated cell-based positioning in the microG settings under Location, so that only WLAN positioning is active. Ich hab auch Probleme mit GPS. Gestern iode OS 6.9-20251031-FP4 auf mein Fairphone 4 installiert. Heute mit Here Maps gefahren und er stockte immer bei der Positionsbestimmung und hat nie die aktuelle Geschwindigkeit angezeigt. Somit war die Navigation eine Katastrophe.
Hatte vorher GalyxOS drauf, da hatte ich keine Probleme.
Here hat “Genauen Standort verwenden” in den Einstellungen aktiv. Aber ich habe den Eindruck, das es nur den “Groben” Standort bekommt.

Hab ich auch. Aber wenn ich in microG rein gehe und auf die drei Punkte den “Online Standortdienste auswählen” gehe, ist keiner der drei Optionen aktiv. Ich meine ich hatte “position.xyz” gewählt.
Yes, the setting is for configuring AGPS but without AGPS the issues you describe are expected. To use only hardware GPS means toget a first fix you need multiple minutes in a clear open area, and it will use heavy amounts of battery. AGPS will use cell tower triangulation as well as wifi triangulation. Many navigation apps will assume you have it enabled.
So please select position.xyz (default) in the microG settings, ensure “System Settings > Use assisted GPS” is enabled, and then also make sure that Here! has permissions set to use Location.

Fair enough, but it is strange in your screenshot above there is no selection of either position.xyz or beacondb.net . So look again there and make sure it is active under “Settings > System > microG > Location”. In addition, while in the microG settings, you can look at the Location section to see recent location requests and see if Here is listed or not. I see also in your screenshot there are no listed apps there that have requested access, another clue it isn’t using it.
Maybe CoMaps is better tuned for using traditional GPS without AGPS so it looks smoother ?

Vielleicht ist CoMaps besser auf die Verwendung von traditionellem GPS ohne AGPS abgestimmt, sodass es flüssiger aussieht ?
