Will there be a Build? Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC

Hey,

i use Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC and wanted to ask if there is a Build for my Phone or if someone could make a Build for my Phone? Because a lot of People are using it!

It is officially supported by LineageOS 21 and got Android 14. Look here: Info about surya | LineageOS Wiki

It will get DivestOS Support in the Future and I thought: Why is there not a Build from iodeOS for my Phone?

Because there was alread a Build from iodeOS in February 2023 for my Phone…Look here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=o_F7jCCpXjA

I hope that it will be supported soon, since it has /e/os Support too. And until there is a DivestOS Build, I want to use iodeOS if possible.

This is an inofficial build from one who is called: LongLiveThePenguin

If he doesn’t do anything there, there probably won’t be a new version.
It will probably never be officially supported by iode.

Because the official alternative is: GSI

To bridge your waiting time, you can temporarily install iodéOS 5.x via DSU Sideloader. DSU Sideloader is simple app made to help users easily install GSIs via DSU’s Android feature.

Should be this one

Temporarily because you are waiting for a CustomROM from DivestOS.

hard to follow with hidden answers

A GSI can be a solution, especially if there is no custom ROM for a device.

A Generic System Image (GSI) can be used on different devices. A device-specific CustomROM is only developed for a single device. The advantages of an intensively developed CustomROM are therefore obvious.

When using a Custom GSI, it is to be expected that not everything will work as well as with a CustomROM. You will only know the final result once you have tried out the GSI.

The DSU Sideloader offers risk-free testing because the original system is not changed. If it works well, it can also be used permanently.

you have to read up on the topic on the internet. Then it will become clear and you will know how it works
These are nice bedtime readings for the evening
a broad and interesting spectrum

In case you disnlt know already, there is an offical LineageOS for microG build available at
https://download.lineage.microg.org/surya/

But IodeOS uses microG.

In iodéOS, microG can be easily deactivated > Settings > Apps > Default apps > Preinstalled apps (Uninstall, reinstall) > microG services

crDroid Android Project offers a current CustomROM version 10.9 (vanilla) (A14). NikGapps or mircoG can also be integrated. crDroid uses LineageOS as base. Updates are usually carried out monthly, which is completely sufficient and is handled in this way by most custom Android distributions.

The information on Recovery-Mode.com is contradictory. On the one hand, it is stated:

NOTES:
THIS ROM IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH GAPPS, DO NOT INSTALL THEM.

On the other hand it is stated:

  1. download NikGapps-core-arm64-13-20220908-signed.zip

and

How to Install GApps ( if necessary )
Select Install - select NikGapps-core-arm64-13-20220908-signed.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash

Make up your own mind what to make of such instructions.

No need to put any more effort into this. He has his account deleted.
Therefore, I already had the feeling yesterday that it was wasted effort here, so I’m glad I didn’t put any work into the questions in the first place

:frowning:
An unofficial build is already in progress for this device (and a couple of others). I wont stop it, and I’ll make it available in case anyone else wants it

Edit:
An unofficial 5.6 build is now available from pf-custom-roms - Browse /IodeOS/surya at SourceForge.net

Untested, use at your own risk
