VoLTE configuration on Xperia XA2

Noticed that VoLTE is not working on my Xperia XA2 (IMS not registered). Had to go back to stock ROM, and boot stock ROM once to get the right configuration for that SIM with stock ROM. Then after reinstall of Iodé VoLTE and VoWifi worked fine.

However, after

  • temporarily using another SIM with Iodé on pioneer
  • then putting back the SIM that previously had been configured correctly,

it doesn’t work anymore (doesn’t even get LTE data if mobile data is switched off during boot and only enabled later).

Obvious solution is: stick to one SIM. But I was wondering if anyone knows where the info about modem configuration/provider specific stuff is stored (not in Stock ROM but after Iodé/LineageOS installation)? I’m hoping I can backup/restore that data (temporarily rooting to do that or using TWRP would be fine for me).

Related question because now I have to do another fresh install: Going from LineageOS 22 to LineageOS 23 on pioneer requires data wipe because on that device the new kernel can’t decrypt old userdata. Will that also be the case when updating from Iodé 6.x to 7.x? (In that case I might as well wait a bit with the fresh install and setup until 7.x is released.)
