Hello,
I upgraded Iodé this morning with the software inside the OS. Since the tactile of my screen is no more responding… and Iodé take more time to load than before.
I unlocked the bootloader via fastboot and i tried to install LineageOS via this Install LineageOS on FP4 | LineageOS Wiki but my OS still Iodé on my phone.
Someone do have an idea to solve this problem ?
I have a Fairphone 4 and i think that the upgrade was to 6.6.
Thanks
Hmm, yesterday I reinstalled a Fairphone 4 with Iode 6.6 and everything worked fine.
Can you give some more detail?
- Was the upgrade you did just from
6.5 to 6.6, or instead from 5.x to 6.6?
- If you did switch ROMs then you probably aren’t concerned about preserving data. Can you (or did you already?) go to recovery to try an re-format
userdata partition?
- The “iodé still exists after installing Lineage” to me means that the Lineage install failed somewhere or it didn’t switch you to the other slot and still has iode on the one slot. There are 2 slots (A / B) and if you really want to make sure no residual cruft is there then you may need to clear both slots: note that the iodé installer or iodé
flash-all script will wipe both slots. So if you would like iodé in the end, I would suggest you use one of those methods.
Sorry for the problems, completely wiping with the installer or flash-all script won’t answer your question as to why there were issues in the first place, but I expect you will get back to fully functioning.
