Update microG components

Is it recommended and stable to update microG components via the iodé repo in F-Droid? Currently there are updates from v0.3.8… to v0.3.9… available.
How were experiences in the past?

v0.3.9 is a ‘Beta’ update and v0.3.9 is the most recent ‘Stable’ update, so F-Droid will only suggest (and automatically update if configured) to v0.3.8.9 if you have selected ‘Allow beta updates’.

I have been using v0.3.9 since it became available, and have not noticed any problems. The main difference is that the issue where it was not possible to grant “Permission to find accounts on the device” is fixed in v0.3.9.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I don’t have Beta updates activated and v0.3.9 is offered as update. My current version is v0.3.8.
So updating via F-Droid is fine, it is not better to wait for a ROM update.
