I know that there has been a hotfix for version 6.9 - but is it necessary to install the update again, even though no problems did occur with my Moto G32? (No difficulties with tactile screen or other.) Never change a running system …

You are right there is no necessity to upgrade it, that revert of the one patch that caused some devices to have an inoperable touchscreen should be the only change. You can stay where you are until v6.10 is available.
