I guess this is the same error yes, because I see the internet fail message in the background when importing, Here are some screenshots of the local update workflow
Hmmmm, that’s odd. In the past I a got this error when something on the server-side was wrong. Maybe it’s the listing-file of the stable releases that is borked.
You could give the Beta updater a shot if you don’t mind.
Can you give a bit more information on if you are rooted, if maybe you have a VPN running that is possibly blocking access to https://gitlab.iode.tech or something else?
And the 7.2 build currently running, was it a dev build or maybe an unofficial / custom build or is this the official iodéOS build? The errors seem related to the build keys not matching meaning your current install doesn’t link correctly to the official iodéOS releases (update check), and the inability to apply a local update would be the same reason (if build keys don’t match then it will refuse to install).
Hey, thanks for all these answers. I think that today I just found the root cause of the issue. I installed Magisk Alpha and it made everything just failing the update. After removing it it all just came back to normal.
Not sure though what kind of problem it caused for the update to fail.
