Update 7.05.2025 samsung s9

updates for S9 are not found in the updater… but a new one can be seen on gitlab.

for me it does show. I installed it, android security level did not change somehow. it still shows March 5th

Are you on beta or stable?
which version is displayed to you after the update?

i think stable, how do I know?

Your update is the old beta.

If your updater does not say beta, you are on stable😉

Something is wrong… The updater does not see the file.

You can also download here and then install via recovery.

hmm thats weird. does this reset my phone? Should “update recovery” be enabled in the updater?
The file the updater downloads has a B in it, since a few months. I guess thats the beta version then
I could also install it via the updater using the “local update” option, no?

You only get beta versions if you have installed the beta updater.

If you have an SD card in your S9 … copy the OTA ZIP to the card …
Go to the recovery
Then apply update
Then choose from SDCard
Then select the ZIP.

You don’t lose your data.

I always switched on update recovery.

very confusing. which version did the updater install then today, if not beta oO. None of the version you linked are from April 25th

Hallo

I have the same issue! I updated like in the comment. It did not help. Security patch still March. grrr

What it’s the matter!?

let’s see what iode says about it.
if they say something…I don’t have much hope

I am curious.

Me neither!

Well known problem with Iode … There are no information and reactions with the problems of Iode !!!

In other words, have built crap again … wrap yourself in silence.

Hi,
how you doing? A new Update is rolling out!

I corrected the wrong link. :slightly_smiling_face:

which date is showing for you in the updater app for 4.24? it says June 14th for me. update was offered on 23rd of July. Still very confusing, still worried im getting betas instead of stable releases.
Build date in settings (“about phone - android-version - build date”) says “Sun Jun 15 01:08:23 CEST 2025”
iodéOS-Version says “4-20250614-UNOFFICIAL-starlte”

I’m at the same stage as you.

I don’t think you have to worry about that, I rather see that the Samsung S9 from iodè is no longer maintained.

Beste regards :slightly_smiling_face:
