Unofficial builds for Sony Xperia XZ1 Dual-SIM (poplar_dsds) and XZ Premium (maple)

Or… you could always save your data to an SD card, buy a runner with a cracked screen on ebay for almost nothing at the moment and swap the processors out. That’s what I’d do cos I’m a cheapskate!

Not necessarily. It could be the ‘corrupted EFS partition’ issue described in this post (which talks about XZ1C, but XZ1 is the same hardware platform, so it could be the same problem). A possible fix is described in the linked web article, and summarised in the post. Worth giving it a try before messing with the hardware (or paying someone else to do so).

WOW… That fixed it! Thanks for pointing me to that. Both SIM slots (and IMEIs) working now.

Thank you for good work. Any poplar_dsds ROM available?
I’m using the LOS4MicroG build and would like to compare it with iode OS. I try the official iode 4 build, but unfortunately it only support single sim poplar and i need dual sim.

Sorry, not just now: as mentioned in this comment

Sadly, no new Iodé 5 builds, either for Sony yoshino devices ( lilac, poplar, poplar_dsds, maple, maple_dsds)(or for Nokia billie). The upstream LOS sources have had ‘build-breaking’ changes since the Iodé 5 sources were pushed. With luck these devices will get new builds when Iodé make their next release.

Got it. Thanks for the reply. Maybe are there any old builds for poplar_dsds?

Unfortunately not. We did have the most recent build but it was blown away while we were tidying up after dealing with the los4microG security issues. Sorry!

All we can offer for now is the most recent LineageOS for microG build from poplar_dsds . You could use that until the unofficial Iodé build is available.
