Hi Ron, without the exact version of iodé recovery is not possible to install the Rom. Have you this recovery? Or, in alternative:
I think @ronnz98 typically recommends users install the LineageOS recovery and use it, did you try that?
Please note that this iodéOS 7.1 ROM by @ronnz98 is from 12/2025 and, to the best of my knowledge, has not been tested … (!)
The iodéOS Recovery recovery.img can be extracted from the iode-7.1-20251227-r8q.zip file. However, there is no vbmeta.img file … (!!)
To reduce the risk of installing iodéOS ROM by @ronnz98, I would first perform a full LineageOS A16 installation. The ROM releases from LineageOS 23.2 (A16) and LineageOS-for-Microg 23.2 (A16) include a vbmeta.img file.
After performing a clean install of LineageOS 23.2, you can try installing using command adb -d sideload iode-7.1-20251227-r8q.zip This will overwrite the LOS-Recovery with the iodéOS-Recovery.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the experiment will be a success.
