OTA update support is neither continuously nor sporadically available, nor is the “relocking bootloader” option available.

Well, “community” / “unofficial” means “community” / “unofficial” . It is great @ronnz98 is making these builds, but setting up OTA requires server side support that he may not have readily available. Updates can be done within the “Updater” app by downloading and using the “install local update” option.

Bootloader re-locking ability is something I also have not tackled for my Pixel and other Moto G devices: I suggest it is beyond the expectations of an unofficial / community build.

In general, I agree with you. I like iodéOS builds. Und yes, if this option works, it’s a very secure way to update. Unfortunately “Local Update” doesn’t always work on all devices, even though the feature is available.
