Same here, clearing data and cache have no impact.
Disable SE Linux don’t help
Reboot don’t help

Info: Sometimes iodé app don’t show any connection, anyhow all messangers and browser still work fine.

@Revan335 and @ubIx and others, there was an error in the metadata used by our online update service that caused updates to not be found for the Shiftphone 8 (and a few others). It is now solved:

Is there any progress?

I expect, that the reason is the missing signatur of iodeOS on the shift phone (visible via bootloader meaaage).

This is not available on CalyxOS, /e/ and ShiftOS L, where the Fingerprint reader was wirking.

Can you please clarify what issue we are talking about? You are not able to update to newer versions of iodéOS or you are wondering about progress on FP sensor support?

Wondering about 2 things.

  1. fingerprint sensor support status.
  2. According my research, the reason is the missing signatur, which will be indicated by a message at boot from bootloader
