Sudden refusal to use WiFi - connectivity check URL?

Iode now refuses flatly to use WiFi at all, claiming “no Internet connectivity”.

A bit of digging, seems that “1.1.1.1” refuses to properly resolve “captiveportal.kuketz.de” (the host I believe Iode is using for connectivity checking).

The reason for this refusal appears to be bad DNSSEC setup on “captiveportal.kuketz.de”.

I dont know if anyone where can give whoever hosts this URL a poke to fix things?

Could also file this under feature requests, like the ability to turn off connectivity check or at least allow changing the URL in developer settings. The fact I can’t use WiFi at all now because of something so ridiculous is wild.

You can turn off that check. Its at the bottom of the Internet screen in Settings. I had the same thing going on in the last couple of days. :slight_smile:

Thank you!! Looks like Iode is one step ahead. Its working fine now at least until whoever owns the server works out what’s going on with cloudflare and dnssec
