Struggling to install iodé os on an A52s 5G

I’ve been trying to flash iodé os to my A52s 5G for the better part of two days with no results. I meticulously followed every damn step of this guide: https://droidwin.com/install-iodeos-on-galaxy-a52s-5g-galaxy-tab-s5e-lte-wi-fi/ yet still no results.

Now the bootlocker says its locked when it isn’t, the adb sideload command yields no results, and I have no idea if I’m supposed to be using TWRP because it isn’t even mentioned in the damn guide.

I would really appreciate your help because this is driving me insane. I’m wondering now if I should flash Lineage OS 22 instead of iode os, considering there’s more resources for LinOS than iodé.

P.S. I’m new to all of this.

Success!! I managed to do it today. I failed to properly unlock the bootloader on the screen just before the Download mode, which is why the flashing consistently failed.
