Starlte Bug: KeepassDX Master Password not accepted after OTA iodéOS 4.32

Dear All,

after the recent OTA update of iodéOS 4.32 (4-20260403-UNOFFICIAL-starlte) on my Samsung Galaxy S9, my KeePassDX master password is no longer accepted to unlock my key file. It seems, as if any entered master password is completely ignored. I was able to reproduce this issue on a second S9, that was also updated to iodéOS 4.32.

Fortunately, the key file was not modified and has not been corrupted. After moving the key file to my Linux computer, I was able to unlock it with KeePassXC using the original master password.

I noticed a similar problem with NeoBackup, which after the OTA update is no longer able to read old backup archives.

Could you please check, if the password management or encryption was affected in any way by the most recent OTA update?

Thanks & Regards

Tom

I can confirm, same here, s10e with 4.32, with keepass DX … bad …

I probably confused iodé 2.15 with iodé 4.31.

And Thunderbird Mailserver Authentication also failed … even the password is correct. Edit: And delete cache partition did not help …

A hotfix build has just been pushed for all concerned devices running v4.32.

Thank you, works again! :+1:

Thanks also from me, Vincent.

Now my master password is recognized and NeoBackup is able to access previous backups.
