Hello,
I am looking for help with spell checking configuration in presence of multiple system languages. I’m still very new to the ecosystem of privacy preserving droid. I just started with iodé on FP5 and I’m using HeliBoard which is the default. I use Polish and English in my conversations. Both languages are set as system languages in settings. I’ve added a switch on HeliBoard to move between the two and it offers language-specific completion, but Polish words get highlighted as if they were being spell-checked with an English dictionary.
Can anyone offer any advice? Is this an issue with iodé or specifically or with HeliBoard?

I finally raised a ticket with Heliboard GH. As mentioned on the ticket, there’s another issue, which appears identical to mine, but after updates they were able to resolve it.
Until heliboard or fotu keyboard provide good multilinugal support, the workaround I have found is to remove network rights from other commonly used multilingual tools. While they are essentially spyware, multilingual keyboards like gboard or microsoft swiftkey can be used to get the job done without being allowed to spy on you. How? After installing the required languages, take away their network rights. On stock android this isn’t possible afaik, but can be done within iodé using the iodé blocker.
