Spam call Blocker may not be working for me. I am providing a number just marked as Spam, for you to check if it has reached your server.
New Issue, Regression, or Feature Request?
I am providing a number which I have just manually blocked and marked as spam: 966001578 (complete with country code would be +34966001578), so.done at 23h50m, on 29th June 2026.
Could you please check if the spam report for that number has reached your side?
Additional info: the “Last update of Spam Block List” shows 19the Jun, just the date when I update to Iodé 7.6 . I think I am not getting updates, even though logged in as Iodé Premium.
You can go all the way out to the PhoneBlock API online test site to check a number: The PhoneBlock API and in this case, that number reports as “legitimate” (not spam).
I didn’t yet have a chance to check with Antoine if he sees your report of the number, will have to get back to you.
Spain is certainly covered! I haven’t yet seen an easy way to pull up the full blocklist for a specific country, but the “one at a time api check” linked above is at least a bit informative in the meantime.
So there is little doubt it was spam. But in many cases there are few or no reports. Then I may call that number back manually, from another phone, to try and discover who is behind (but I do not do this much, I admit)

Some reported numbers are not showing. Your number did not show in the reported numbers logs, and also numbers I report from the USA are not showing. It needs a bit more coordinated testing to sort out where it is getting blocked.
It is still not finalized how to submit numbers gathered by iodé to PhoneBlock via their API. We are attempting to work this out with them. So the numbers are getting gathered by us (except in the cases above where they aren’t ) and will be submitted one way or another.
About “Listaspam” I did see that some other 3rd party spam call blockers use it. I don’t think the lists are downloadable to be used offline however?? This would be a requirement for us to integrate it in our solution. Maybe you can help me sort out if that is the case or not.

I do not have an account in “ListaSpam” (I am a bit of a paranoid cat for giving data to sites that do not state to be privacy-respecting and seek to install apps in my phone). When I “troogle” a suspicious phone number, ListaSpam is usually the first site that comes up, with seemingly real comments. The rest of the sites appearing do not really specific info, simply they seem to push a dynamic kinda fake result for the search in “troogle”, so not useful.
My first guess is that they would have users use their app installed (and may be prey on their private data) rather than offering their data for free in an API. Nonetheless I am going to try and ask them, and get back to you.
If their answer is “no”, is there a way users like me can contribute to widen the cover of spam phone numbers, other than individually reporting suspicious numbers one by one by ticking the checkbox?.
Functionality suggestion: would be nice if , apart from the check box, there was a field to add comments on the phone number, like youfind if you go in the PhoneBlock website to report a number. That would make Iodé’s users contributions a lot easier to be valuable (comment build trust)
