LineageOS 18.1 as well as /e/OS-R supports this four Single and Dual-SIM XZ2 models: H8216, H8266. H8276, H8296. Is this also true for iodéOS 2.5 / 3.0?
If LineageOS supports these devices, so does iodéOS 2.5 and the upcoming 3.0.
As we always stated, we are based on LineageOS, are very careful about the additions we do that we try to make the less intrusive as possible; in order to keep Lineage stability, maintainability, functionalities.
The question may arise for devices that are not supported by LineageOS though.
My question resulted from the memory with iode-1.1-20210306-akari and iode-1.2-20210525-akari for Xperia XZ2. This release was only for Single-SIM models (e. g. H8216), although starting with LineageOS 17.1 all four models were already supported.
In the meantime, I’ve also installed iodéOS 2.5 on a Dual-SIM (H8266) (previously LineageOS-for-microG) - and it still works :o)
