Hallo. After rebooting the Sony Xperia 1V USB Debugging is always activated. I have to enable Developers-Mode to disable this nonsense. It is a very annoying behavior and a security problem in connection with the open bootloader.
Is there a solution to make sure that a deactivated USB Debugging will stay deactivated? I hope there is a solution. Otherwise I have to replace Iode. I don’t need security issues.
Do you mean that you go into Developer settings, disable USB Debugging, and revoke USB debugging authorisations, but when you then reboot USB Debugging has been re-enabled?
I cannot reproduce that on the Sony devices I have, which use the same IodéOS code as this device. So it may be that the problem is in the upstream, device-specific code for this device fro the LineageOS developers. So a final question…
Does the problem also occur in the latest build of either official LineageOS (builds here) or LineageOS for microG (builds here)?
I run Build-Number AP4A.250205.002 release-keys. I also have problems installing the newest. It’s stuck during the installation and then I am back at the last version.
Yes, that’s the problem. I disable the USB-Debugging, than I close the Developer settings and after a reboot it’s activated again. Maybe it happens only, when I connected the Sony to my PC during the usage. But I’m not sure.
I can not say something about that, because I use the Sony as my daily smartphone. So I can’t change the custom rom so easilly.
Thanks. As I said, I believe this is a problem in the upstream device-specific code, so it won’t be fixed in IodéOS builds until / unless it is fixed in the LineageOS code.
Hello
Is it possible that you have enabled the option to always allow connections to that PC while initially writing the ROM? Can you try another PC and see if it’s the same?
