does the Pixel 7 have a slot to insert a memory card ?

Thanks, but I might have misasked my question?
On my phone I can put the SIM card and a second location allows to put a memory card (or a second SIM)
On my memory card, I put several copies of files: contacts, pictures, music, OSMAnd cards…
It helped me a lot during breakdowns and reinstallations
So it’s impossible on a Pixel?
If I plan to do the same operation I have to use an USB connection and store those files on my computer ? Right ?

Yes correct. You only have a physical SIM Card slot and an eSIM modem. No possibility to insert a memory card.
Or use a little USB-Stick (one side USB-a and one side USB-c) for your backups.
Example (I chose the cheapest available)
You can set your smartphone backup program (Seedvault) to automatically run the backup every time you connect the stick. Very convenient and quick.
And if you want to backup the data additionally on your computer, the USB-A works fine for plugging in the USB-stick to the computer and saving a second copy onto there.
