[SOLVED] New build failure: `utilities/keycheck missing`

My recent attempts to builds IodeOS have failed with the following error.

FAILED: ninja: 'out/target/product/z3/utilities/keycheck', needed by 'out/target/product/z3/ramdisk/init.real', missing and no known rule to make it
07:24:43 ninja failed with: exit status 1

#### failed to build some targets (04:35 (mm:ss)) ####

I have tried a completely clean build, removing my whole build tree, and re-synching but no joy.

Internet search turned up nothing useful. Any ideas?

z3: is a Sony device?

Yes. Xperia Z3. Still officially supported by LOS 18.1. This and the other Z3 devices - Z3 Comapct (z3c), Z3 Compact Tablet (z3tc, z3tcw) - are the devices I am trying to build Iode 2 for.

Anyway, the problem was fixed by a full repo sync, after the call to ‘lunch’ see this wiki post for fuller details
