[SOLVED] Fingerprint setup not working on Pixel 9 running iodéOS 6.8

Hi iodé community!

I’m running the latest iodeOS official for my device Google Pixel 9 (Tokay), and I’m having trouble to setting up the fingerprint sensor.

The system doesn’t allow me to enroll my fingerprint, the setup fails immediately after clicking start

Info that may help:

ROM: iodeOS 6.8
Bootloader status: unlocked
Kernel: non-stock
PIN/Pattern: working

Additional info:
*Fingerprint works fine on other ROMs Like Project Infinity X
*I don’t use a screen protector
*I didn’t use iodeOS Previously, iodeOS 6.8 is the first release that I used

What I did so far to fix it:
*Rebooting
*Re-setup PIN Number
*Reinstalling iodeOS to the other slot without losing data “adb sideload ota-update.zip”

If you guys need any other info, please mentioned it

I figure it out,
this problem related to the kernel, I flashed the stock kernel and proceed with fingerprint setup, then flashing the custom kernel again.

Thanks for the followup, glad you got it sorted.

We do see various problems when not returning to stock (A15 if possible for iodé 6.x) before flashing iodé. To help us keep track of what previous systems lead to possible issues when installing iodé, what were you running before flashing iodé?

I was running Project Infinity X
