as the title says my Galaxy Tab S5e charges veeery slowly after the update to iodé 6.11. When I plugged it in yesterday at noon with some 30% battery left it took more than 7 hours to get it up to 75%. Normaly itˋs only max. 2 hours from twentysomething percent to my charging limit of 80%.
Did/Does anybody make the same experience? Any hint appreciated …
Just confirming you have a clean / lint-free charging port, good quality charger, and good quality cable? I am guessing you didn’t change any of these, but possibly something has degraded the charger?
OK, problem is solved, itˋs the charger. Happen to have an old one (not a Samsung) laying around, plugged it in, charging time is back to normal. Thanks!
My Samsung 15W fast charger EP-TA20EWE and an third-party Power Delivery 2.0 (18W) chargers the large 7020 mAh Li-Po battery of my Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e SM-T720 + SM-T725 with iodéOS 6.11 reliably but not really quickly. However, this is due to the Samsung hardware and not iodéOS - a known Samsung handicap of this device family.
