Hi team,
I’m using iodeOS 7.5 on three phones:
- FP5 (my phone)
- Pixel 4a (my son)
- Samsung A52s (my daughter)
All bootloaders are unlocked (even if I could have relock bootloader for pixel and FP5).
MicroG configuration seems to be the same on all devices (google attestation enabled).
On FP5, I can install Revolut kids (from Aurora), configure and use my daughter account.
But on Pixel and Samsung phones, I can install app, but I’m unable to use it , and I got this screen:
Any idea why behavior is different on all those phones?
Thanks for your help
Banks use the following detection methods (which do not always work, which is perhaps why it works on some devices):
- Bootloader lock / unlock
- Installation via the Play Store (can be spoofed using microG and the Aurora Store)
- SafetyNet (can be spoofed using microG and iodéOS)
- Managed Device Attestation (there is no solution for this)
Do you happen to be logged into a google account / microG on your phone vs your kids 2 phones?
I see “Revolut Junior” has a gold rating in Plexus (from F-Droid) for microG, but it is only 1 report and is from a while ago: Plexus | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository
Possibly /e/ forum or microG itself may be places to search to see if there are any other discussions on it?
