Short Description:
Calling (in & out) did not work on a new install. Mobile Data & SMS worked. Swapping my SIM for an eSIM solved the issue.
New Issue, Regression, or Feature Request?
When installing 7.7 (Coming from LineageOS 23.2) i restored all Appa trough Seedvault and almost everithing worked. SMS, Mobile Data, etc.
But when receiving Calls, they were immediately revoked, i did not see them. Insted i got a call memo from my ISP. I couldnt Call either, i heard no dialing sound and the call ended after ~ 30 seconds.
I’m on Sunrise in switzerland. Someone mentioned a similar issue with yallo (sunrise network).
Reading similar issues in here, i tried resetting APNs and tried other SIMs (who worked). Nothing worked. But some comments suggested, that the issue is my ISP not registering my Phone. So I figured, swapping my SIM card for anorher card could do the trick. I first went with an eSIM because it’s free and this did the trick.
So for anyone, having similar issues: contact your ISP, ask wether your SIM is registered and consider swapping your SIM for another one.
