title explains what i am requesting
If you mean the version in the iodé repository, we only keep Open Camera there because on devices running iodé 2 (that are ineligible for newer builds) Open Camera was the default camera app so removing it from our repo would cause issues for those devices.
But it is true we are not updating it ourselves anymore, instead using Aperture from LineageOS as our default camera app. So if you want an updated Open Camera you can get it from the main F-Droid repo.
Good to know! Changed the repo on my phone, too. (Even though I stopped taking pictures since sadly the camera hardware is just crap).
Maybe I should have been more clear, we do distribute updated versions of apps there, it is just OpenCamera that is outdated
. I guess I mean I hope you didn’t disable / remove the entire repository.
No, don’t worry, I just deinstalled OpenCamera and installed it again via Standard F-Droid -repo
Probably I won’t remember why I did that the next time I have to flash the successor phone (insert emoticon for old and senile).
