Hi. On the new update am I able to record calls? Can I do that without sideloading something. On GOS the option appeared without doing anything extra. I thought I would update and make a call and there would be a record call option during the call. That did not happen. Anyway this will work without a novice adb user doing extra work! Thanks!
I am also curious about call recording feature. As an EU inhibitant, will this feature be disabled for me (because of GDPR)?
As I understand the change log, the feature has always been there. And now it is supposed to be activated in all countries.
I made a call on a newly updated iode phone and there was no option to record. I am used to GOS call recording where there is an option to record upon connect so maybe I missed something but I could not find it in settings either.

I am now on iodéOS 7.2 and I was not able to locate call recording toggle/button within system phone app ![]()
The call recording button appears on the bottom left row of icons on the screen you see while in a call.
FYI there is already an existing thread for this:
On my part, after connecting the call, record button is available in the low left corner position ![]()
Same for me, but I can’t set it to record continuously on every call; I have to turn it on manually (just like before).
