I installed iodeOS 6.5 on a Shiftphone 6mq and meanwhile updated to 6.6. Some time after the update I noticed that the list of recently used apps on the first screen of the Apps system settings is not refreshed. The listed 4 apps always remain the same. But the issue may have happened also before the update.
Notice the number of passed minutes (negative)!
How can I fix this?
Sounds to me like 6.6 is full of bugs. Sorry, you are having this issue. After I “upgraded” to 6.6, I was able to do a manual install and go back to 6.5

This didn’t solve my issue, but it may for you.
A lot of times this won’t work well (going back to an older version) without doing a clean install (meaning reformatting)

I haven’t seen this before! One thing to try would be System Settings > Apps > All Apps > 3 dots > Reset app preferences. It indicates it will not lose any app data.

Thank you for that advice. I will keep it in mind if it happens again.
I remember I had that issue several years ago with a LineageOS for microG installation. It remained until I installed another ROM.
This time the issue was solved after I tested a few new apps. I installed some and removed all of them except one. Afterwards I saw that the list was refreshing again.
