I had a meeting via proton meet in the iodé browser and it would not see my microphone the entire time (we eventually had to bail on that platform and use signal instead). I went into phone settings and allowed permissions for iodé browser, and made sure the mic tile was toggled on. I was on a headset and I also tested without a headset, but the result was the same. BTW the meeting’s text chat function worked for me until I left the app to go into my settings; then it gave me a hard time with the chat function when I returned (said I left the meeting when I just went into my settings with the meeting still running, and when I returned it even showed 2 of me. After that the chat function ceased to work). Anyone else have this problem? Should I try a different browser? Is this something that’s fixable? I’m on MotoG-2024 and iodé version 7.4-20260404-UNOFFICIAL-fogo whatever that means (I’m starting to think I’m not cut out for this device but that’s a different topic)

Sorry for the rough edges, especially when it affects work. As you see there are some parts that are not seemless in de-coupling from the full “Google’d Android world”.
But in this case, I wonder if it would be more reliable using the Proton Meet app? This would be my first suggestion to try.
