Hi, i am trying to enable the thermometer sensor but it looks like it not supported in iode.
I had previously grapheneos and calyxos and there it was working without issue.
Is there a config I am missing?
I have seen similar issue from a pixel 8 pro user but maybe pixel 9 pro is different issue.
Can you clarify where / what app uses it or how to confirm if it is or isn’t working? I have a Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 Pro I can test.
Thermometer is available from pixel 8 pro series onwards. Pixel 7 pro does not have it but I could test it.

In this threat another user has shared the commits from calyxos that enabled the sensor on calyxos ROM.
So is there any open source / privacy respecting app that can access the sensor? 
I dont think there is but it was working without network access. Similar to Google camera app
