Pixel 8 Pro Bricked?

So long story short, I followed the guide and got to the point where iodeos was flashing onto my phone and it got stuck on the fastboot screen that says, restart device, power off, and other options. I hit reboot and the phone restarted 3 or 4 times with the google icon then the screen went black.I left it for about 15 minutes and nothing happened so I unplugged my phone. Current the screen is black and I cant get it to restart or load into the fastboot screen. When i plug it into my computer I can hear the device connect but now it shows up as usb composite device insead of pixel 8 pro. Is there anyway to unbrick this?

Download the fastboot version from the website (husky/iode-5.8-20241218-husky-fastboot.zip · master · ota / release · GitLab), unzip it to disk, boot the phone into fastboot if it’s not already there (Vol down + Power), connect to PC, and run flash-all.bat.
This is the safest way to install a Rom.
At worst, if this doesn’t work, reinstall the original firmware (https://flash.android.com) with the phone in fastboot and after repeat the procedure to install Iode

Seems the problem

flash.android.com should work as last resort.

What was the previous ROM before you tried to install iode?

Oh, kann es da Probleme geben? Hatte erst GOS und jetzt CalyxOS installiert. Es folgt…IodeOS
Oh, can there be problems? Had first installed GOS and now CalyxOS. This is followed by…IodeOS (Deepl)

Stock android 14. My computer doesn’t recognize my phone so the android flash tool wont detect it. I think my only option is to let the phone die and die it back on

Stupid question: the phone is charged ?
Even if the screen remains black in fastboot mode, the “fastboot devices” command doesn’t do anything?
Good luck anyway…
P.S.: If I may offer a word of advice: Before installing a custom ROM, always reinstall the stock ROM to avoid problems - I speak from experience.
