OnePlus11 Battery Charging Problem

Hi Community,

I’m using now iodé sience version 2.1. I’m very happy with that great work, thank you very much!

Two days before I updated to version 7.0. But I’ve troubles because of the Updater linked to the news entry. The Updater shows me that he loads the Version 7.0 but it’s loading 6.9.

I see it after two trys of Update and then I downloaded Version 7.0 from Gitlab and install it in the updater.

In the evening I plugged the Smartphone to power and in the morning it was lesser than at evening, at 27%. I load it again and in 20’ it loads to 100% I was wondering about, but all was ok.

Last Night I enabled loading control to loads until alarm. But it at point of alarm it only hav 80%. I waited a moment (~5’) and the battery was at level of 94%.

I think it is an issue, but I didn’t find anything in the forum about this. Does abyone know something?

Best regards,

Adrian

Can you please clarify some things as I think some parts may be lost in translation?

Your device is now on v7.0, was it on v6.x previously?

Did you have charging control configured in the previous version?

Now in v7.0 charging control doesn’t seem to stop charging at the designated %?

Also, just curious if you could report your battery capacity when you look at “System Settings > Battery > Battery Information”. Report the Design capacity and the Maximum capacity (with % rating even though it should just be simple math).

Hi Rik,

thank you for reply.

I updated from v6.9 to v7.0.

Before the update the charging control was switched off.

In the first night of v7.0 it didn’t charge it shows me charging, but in the morning battery has less power.

In the second night charging control was switched on (based on alarm) and it’s charging to 94% after alarm. I switched it on because of the Problems in the first night.

I don’ trust this values, the OnePlus 11 is a really new one, (ca. one year).

Could it be a trouble with stats?

Hello everyone,

It seems my issue wasn’t understood.
I updated Iodé from version 6.9 to 7.0 by downloading the updater and then checking for updates. However, it didn’t find any. That’s why I manually downloaded the 7.0 update and installed it through the updater.
After that, I tried charging the phone without charge control. It didn’t charge - even though it indicated it was charging, the battery level kept dropping.
So, I enabled charge control - with this, it charges to 80% as expected, but that’s not enough for me, as my day is otherwise too long.
Is anyone else having problems with battery charging on version 7.0?
Thanks a lot!

Does your Updater show the 7.1 update available? I don’t think it will solve your issue but just wondering if you got that sorted or not.

This is a bit strange that with charging control enabled it will charge, but if it is disabled it won’t charge at all, I haven’t heard of that before.

Note that in the meantime until we sort it out you can change the % from 80 to even something like 99

Hi rik,

thank you very much for your answer - I wish you and all the users here blessed new year 2026!

Yes the new Version 7.1 was shown and I installed it. I will try if the charging will work with this version.

For me it’s also a special situation. Is it possible to get log files of this behaviour? (my device isn’t rooted) (LogCat or something like that?)

I charged normally last night without checking the charge—it works with version 7.1.
Thank you very much for your help! Just one quick question—there used to be a “slow charge” function to conserve the battery. Is it still there, or am I just not finding it?

I am glad to see that it is working correctly for you. I am not familiar with the “slow charge” feature. If you would like to start a new thread asking about it maybe others will have more information.
