Oneplus 11: Fingerprint sensor isn’t recognising any fingers

I’ve been using a OnePlus 11 as a replacement for my OnePlus 9 since today.
The setup went smoothly, but the fingerprint sensor isn’t recognising any fingers. I haven’t been able to register a single fingerprint. It keeps telling me to clean the sensor! It worked fine with the OnePlus 9.

Is it possible the screen was replaced and the sensor was not replaced / connected correctly? Meaning did the sensor work fine on OxygenOS?

As far as I know, nothing has been replaced. The device is as good as new.
Unfortunately, I haven’t tested the sensor with Oxigenos.
