Hello members, I’ve got a bit of a difficult one. Used the app for years, never seen anything like it. Sent an email to the developer and as it is not a “Google" appstore download, they didn’t want to know.
App: NZTopo50 app
Error after installation.
Has anyone come across this?

It seems like it is trying to access files that don’t exist, maybe you can check in AppInfo > permissions that it has access it needs.
As a side question, not certain what is unique about NZTopo50, but do some of the topography layers you can enable in OSMAnd suffice?

The permissions seem to be ok.
What I noticed a few days ago was that the location is way out. Here ( Screenshot 20260724 055007 Co Maps 2 — Postimages ) you see the distance from my physical location to the gps(coMaps). So something is going on with the gps location.
Not sure if the gps has anything to do with the topo50. As you mentioned, more likely permissions. I’ll ask the map developer to see what can be done.
Edit: I have reinstalled twice without getting a change.

Edit 3: The developer replied; “ It is an Aurora limitation. Run this search 'does aurora work with obb extension files’ and see if there are known workarounds”
Edit 4; I had another update from the developer, “the next app update will have a fallback for missing obb files and just download and cache map tiles on demand. Could be released in the next couple of weeks.”
